FAQ

I have severe tooth ache and it is outside normal hours, where can I go for help?

Please call NHS 111.

Where can I find the surgery and is there available parking?

The surgery is located on Queensway, above the jewellery shop and adjacent to an Opticians. Please click the " contact us" tab for the address, interactive map and telephone number. Also there is plenty of free parking in a public car park 2 minutes walk from the practice and limited street parking in front of the surgery.

Do you accept new NHS patients?

YES! We are accepting new NHS patients and also open late on Tuesdays for NHS patients.

I'm very nervous about attending the dentist, can you help me?

YES! We have a team of experienced dentists and nurses working at Queensway dental practice. We understand you may have certain fears and concerns and always work with you to try and address these before treatments. The dentist will discuss your treatment options and advise you on what they feel is clinically indicated, however the choice to proceed with treatment is yours. If you have any concerns, please air these with the dentist on your first appointment.

Do you offer private and cosmetic treatments?

Do you have disabled access?

We try to facilitate the attendance of all patients. However, please note that our surgeries are based on the first floor. Fire regulations unfortunately prohibit adapting the facilities. Secure handrails are present, and assistance can be given if required to climb the stairs.

What if I need to cancel an appointment?

If you are unable to attend your appointment please let us know as soon as possible. This will enable us to offer it to someone else. If you miss more than one appointment or give less than 24 hours notice, we may not be able to complete your treatment or offer you NHS care in the future.
